Financial Support Associate

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Morristown is accepting applications for the position of Financial Support Associate in the Business Office to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. This position requires the ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring purchase orders and incoming orders and payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical diploma or Associate degree preferred
  • Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data Entry skills
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • Customer service and negotiation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details
