About
The Welding Technology program is designed to teach individuals how to weld various metals using different types of welding processes. The student begins with basic welding processes and techniques and then advances into processes such as pipe and tig welding. Students may elect to take the full course or may learn only one or two areas, such as mig welding for a production job or to upgrade current skills.
Welding is used almost everywhere, from construction of buildings and factories to cars and appliances. A good welder is always in demand and earns a good salary.
