Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of previous experience working in an office setting
  • Courteous and pleasant demeanor with co-workers, students, and the general public
  • Ability to communicate in various forms effectively and tactfully with employees, students, and public at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related technical diploma preferred, or
  • A comparable combination of education and directly related experience may be considered

Responsibilities

The Academic/Student Support Associate position is responsible for work performed in a variety of office tasks. Duties will include but are not limited to performing general office duties; serving as receptionist; performing tasks related to new practical nursing student orientation and graduation; providing admissions/enrollment information to students and prospective students; entering data into online student information management system; and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the PN Coordinator.

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications, experience, education, and in accordance with the guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
